MatchaMagic operated by Overseas Trading Support Inc., Japan was established in 2006. Company is located in Hamamatsu city, Shizuoka prefecture where we have the largest green tea plantation area and production volume in Japan.
Shizuoka Prefecture is located in the Pacific coast of midland Japan.
The population of 3.8 million and the land of 7,800km, Shizuoka faces Mount Fuji in the north east, Pacific Ocean in the south and Lake Hamana in the west.
Shizuoka, meaning “quiet hill” in Japanese, has an ideal climate for growing green tea plant and the fresh melt water from Mount Fuji helps growing great taste tea leaves.
And now over 50% of total Japanese green tea is cultivated and produced in Shizuoka.
Collaborating with one of the largest green tea manufacturer and tea plantation farm, MatchaMagic started to export the region’s Matahc and Sencha green tea powders from 2006. Being in the region of green tea, MatchaMagic has a great advantage of exporting green tea made in Japan. We have various selection of green tea items, especially for powder items.
